What minor league players are going to be impact players next year? Someone who is known but is either in the minors or wont qulify as a rookie this year. In my fantasy baseball keeper league we can carry over any non-rookie to the next year. So last year I'd be able to carry over Evan Longoria. They'll also have to be able to play and be productive next season. Any suggestions?

  1. cameron maybin he got traded for cabrera in the cabrera trade

  2. andrew mccutchen from the pirates. he is a really good OF, if nady or mclouth wouldnt have had such a hot start, he would have been called up this year. his numbers are outstanding, jay bruce like. he has speed, hits more for avg than for power but has some pop.

colby rasmus from the cardinals. if he dint have such low batting avg this year, he would be up with chris perez and the rest of the players from st.louis. he has a lot of power... i ment to say A LOT. he can hit 30 to 40 HR's in his rookie year but he is also a little adam dunn like (hits for power but can have low batting avg)

David Price from the rays. his an awesome pitcher. did u know that he strukout arod on his first start in the minors? and i think it was 2 times. he could even be called up this year, the guy strikesout a lot of players in each and every game (sort of like edinson volquez)

travis snider from toronto. a nice power hitter, with a good batting avg. and with good defensive skills. he and dam lind are great OF's from the blue jays. both hit for power and are incredible prospects with a lot of potential.

Joe Koshansky from colorado. power hitting 1st baseman, gets a bunch of rbi's every year. he hit 41 hr's in one season before. he has so much strenght and can hit 280 or 290 on the majors. he was called up last year on september but dint make the team in spring traning. he is rbi machine, power went down a little but he is still a very good prospect.

other that could get called up:

    matt gamel (3b/of) - brewers

    matt laporta (3b/of) - brewers

    chris davis (1b) - rangers

    matt antonelli (2b) - padres

    will inman (p) - padres

    rick porcello (p) - tigers

    adam miller (p) - cleveland

i am a minor league guy. i watch minor league games (also major league games) and love reading baseball america all the time so i know players that regular fans wouldnt. those are the ones i think can be called up this year on the september call up or would be starters next year on their teams. this is not taken from the book, u can tell by the way i describe the players but that is basically what they are. hope this helps.
