  1. I say the tikka...they are really lite weight, they are very accurate, their action is like glass because they are just so smooth...and they are really comfortable...I vote for tikka, you wont be disappointed

  2. Tikka makes some of the best rifles around in my opinion, but i dont like ur caliber u chose though, i was never a fan of .270 cause you might as well get a 30-06, they are very similar but the 30-06 has a bigger bullet, which means more knock down power, and they have pretty much the same recoil

  3. Tikka is the less expensive line of rifles made by Sako. Both Sako and Tikka are imported by Beretta USA.

The Tikka's have the same smooth actions and triggers as the Sako rifles. It's primarily in the cosmetics of the rifles where the cost-cutting shows on the Tikka models.

Winchester and Browning are also quality rifles. It's pretty hard to get a bad rifle from any major manufacturer these days.

  4. I dont know about Tikka as I dont that gun, but for a .30 cal bolt action rfile, a remington M700 is an exc choice.

  5. Tikka is made by Sako and they make some of the best rifles in the world.

It's a Finnish company and their guns are world reknown for their tack driving accuracy.

I own a Sako .338 and it's amazing. Family and friends all have Gun Envy about this beautiful rifle.

The Browning A-Bolt is an amazing rifle also but it is NOT a Sako\Tikka. If you could get the A-Bolt for hundreds of dollars less, than sure, get the A-bolt. But if the prices are about the same, the Tikka is the way to go.

Remember, most likely you'll have this rifle for the rest of your life and possibly for generations to come....
