I'm starting to travel a lot more with my job, with some overseas trips to London and Switzerland. Would like to invest in some noise cancelling head phones, but only if they work really well. What do you recommend, and is it true that they reduce jet lag because they make it easier to sleep on the plane?

  1. I'm not sure if Bose make general noise cancelling headsets, but I work as a pilot and use headsets (earphones and mic) on a daily basis - and have tried a few different ones...Bose's noise cancelling headsets are truly excellent - but like I said, I use the pilot specific ones, so you'd need to see if they made general ones.

A lot of pilot's ones utilise battery powered noise cancellation too - which helps a LOT - you notice the difference.

  2. there are some really cool

sound proof earphones which are retractable on ebay for 2 pounds

  3. I recommend skull candy full metal jacket buds, but any other in ear buds will do. They also are much better quality than standard earbuds, you will hear things that you never noticed in your music before such as lower bass notes. About jet lag, i find that it is easier for me to fall asleep with earbuds in my ears than without. Hope this helped.

  4. I have some Sennheiser headphones which are really good (and for the price they should be)
