What modifications can increase car insurance?

Can just cosmetically changing the car increase car insurance for instance- alloy wheels and a minor body kit? I understand that performance modifications can for example- exhaust, sports air filters etc.

Can anyone help me here?

it can yes, thebetter the car looks the more risk some one will take it, so it does bump up the price a bit
