  1. the best for weather is usually July and August but nothing is ever guaranteed with our weather, it's totally unpredictable

May and June might not have as good a record for weather but we often have some really nice spells then, the trouble is you can never know when they're coming or how long they'll last

if you can come any time during those months I would definitely advise keeping away from the peak period (usually the last 2 weeks of July and all of August) because it's expensive, crowded and sweaty ... just come prepared for some rain (bring lightweight raincoat and umbrella) and maybe sometimes a bit chilly (bring a warm woolly or fleece)

  2. end of june

  3. Weather in all of western Europe is unpredictable.

And even more, if a month has been very nice the last two years, it is likely to be a bad weather month this year.

So plan to come when you can come and take the weather as it comes.

More predictable than the weather are the crowds.

In May it is rather quiet, June a little more busy and July and August you will have to book ahead for most places to stay and queues to get into things will be long.

I advice travel in May and June.

  4. I'd say August. May is pretty rainy all over Europe, especially these places. Check the weather forecast for better predictions

  5. I can say from personal experience that Ireland is nice in August.  I normally go then, and I assure you the weather is lovely.  Of course, in Ireland, the weather is virtually unpredicatable, so be prepared for rain and shine.  I would assume England is a similar stroy, but I wouldn't know, I've never spent much time there.
