  1. My two girls were champion sleepers. Both went down for the night at around 6 weeks. Having another baby in a few days, wife and I hope she is a good sleeper too.

That said I have friends whose kids didn't sleep through the night until 6 months. Every kid is different.

  2. It all depends on the baby. My son slept through the night at about one month. But I know a baby that is over a year and still dosnt sleep through the night.

  3. It depends.  My son didn't sleep through the night until he was 6 months old.  He is now 9 months old and all of sudden he is waking up at night again.  But I have friends who's babies slept by 3 or 4 months.

  4. I've got 3 kids and none of them slept through the night until over a year old. Maybe I did something wrong, LOL. I think that when the child is ready, they will.

  5. Every baby is different.  My baby didn't really start sleeping through the night until she was 14 months old.  And she still gets up every once in awhile.  If she's teething, or sick, or missing you or is too hot or too cold she might still wake up.  People always told me to get my sleep when I was pregnant and they were right.  I got used to the sleep deprivation!

  6. It depends I know my kid sister didn't until she was around six months. And she is a busy body too!!!

  7. I am really sorry to have to say this...but...most babies do not sleep through the night until they are 6+ months old, unless you get lucky. My first child started consistently sleeping through the night at about 7 months and my second child was about 9 months old before she consistently slept through the night, she is 11 months now and still wakes up occasionally. There is an up side to this....you eventaully get used to getting up at night and your body really does adjust and you no longer feel tired, this happened for me when my kids were about 4 months old...I had to get up 3-5 times a night with them (husband is a deep, deep sleeper) and eventually I wasn't tired when I woke up. I really do hope you are one of those lucky ones that gets to sleep for at least 6 hours through by the time your baby is 3 months! Best of luck.

  8. It varies from child to child.  I doubt very much your child will be sleeping through the night with any consistency by September.

  9. Usually about the third month or so, sometimes earlier and sometimes later....every baby is different.

  10. Every baby is different.  I was lucky and my daughter started at 8 wks and my son at 6 wks.  I work with a woman whose daughter did not sleep through the night until after the age of 1.  You'll get used to the lack of sleep. . .trust me.
