What month do the leaves change color in Oregon?

I'm going to visit colleges in Oregon and I want to visit in the fall when schools are in session and the leaves have changed from green to red, orange, and yellow. What month do they change? September? October? November?

The color change is dependent on the weather, and where in the state you would be going. Your best bet is to check with the school, but experience tells me your best bet would be in October, about mid month. But they don't change in every part of the state or even put on big color displays every year. Some years are fantastic, others it just seems that everything changes on every tree at a different time and there is no really big color. And several of the colleges don't start their school year until late in September.
