What month is the best time to vacation in Puerto Rico?

Please give full details to where the most affordable places to stay and eat. Also include great places to see.

I say visit us between June through August. It's summer time, the sun's always shining and it the time of festivals and parties!

Courtyard by Marriot in Isla Verde has some nice prices.. It's right next to the beach and has an amazing buffet restaurant called Salsa that serves authentic Puerto Rican food.

There's the Condado Plaza in Condado... Newly renovated, it's beautiful and the location is amazing.

Other hotels I would recommend would be... San Juan Hotel & Casino, La Concha, Sheraton Old San Juan (this one's situated right in the heart of the capital), The Water Club.

I have to add that there are restuarants at walking distances from each hotel...

Sunrise might be right, but because of this most Tourist will not travel during these month. You will find a great bargain staying in the best resorts. For example me and the wife travel to Puerto Rico in March and stay in El Conquistador in Fajardo, PR. It cost 279.00 a night for 5 nights, ouch!!! But week came back another year in June and in July for 170.00 a night big difference. So I would say try to travel between June and August.

In july (early I believe) they have a lot of great festivals in Loiza. They carve the coconut masks, and u get to see the Vejigantes. U also get to see the bomba dancing. Its fun. =]

i like to go on january so i can go get free toys for my nephews on three kings day. they give them away for free by the Morro on january 6.

The best time to avoid the crowds is the low season between May and November, which is also hurricane season (June-November).
