    I am from Egypt. I think you can get very good deals in the months of June/July/August. They are hottest months in Egypt. But not 50s as someone said, it can go up to 40th, but the nights are much cooler.

    So many tourists still come in summer. it should be fine especially in Cairo and the coastal cities i.e. Hurghada/Taba/Sham El Sheikh (Sinai) as well as Alexandria. The Southern parts might be hotter esp. Aswan and Luxor (mid 40s celesius in the day, coller at night), though many tourists still go to them at this time of the year. needless to say,  they get to pay 1/3 and sometimes 1/4 of what winter visitors pay to go to the same places.

    Generally, you can be okay during the morning if you take some shade from the sun and hydrate yourself well. At night, things are okay all over Egypt..

Our summer months are the probably the cheapest (as it is very hot in Egypt and most people prefer their winter which is March - October.     Also try lastminute.com for cheap flights I found that they have the cheapest flight - flying with KLM which is a really good airline.   Hope this has been helpful, and have a great holiday

  7. Probably in late June or July, they are the hottest months, so better to get a deal. If you can cope with 50c heat.

    Travel agents windows often have cheap deals, & try a last min deal on the net.

    nov, jan no one wants to travel stright after christmas and may, june starts to get hot again
