  1. The future of my kids

Wad of dumb: wow your name really fits......

I take my kids to the park at least twice a week, and we bring plastic bags with us.  As we walk through and close to the pond, we pick up the trash on the ground and close the the pond.  Will the 3 of us change the world, not really, but we are at least making a small difference in the ecosystem of that park and pond.

  2. My wallet.

If industries are supported to encourage conservation then people wouldn't be so wasteful but something is needed to get the attention of the masses.   Cash, money, our wallets.

  3. I never like harming the environment...i try to be friendly to my environment as much as possible

  4. I think it's just been drummed into my head since I was a little kid. Things like recycling, turning off lights, and not wasting water are almost second nature. I'm surprised when I see someone NOT recycling.  I remember the first energy crisis so I've always wanted cars that get decent gas mileage.

  5. Walking through our forests is my motivation :)

  6. History, experiencing environmental disasters firsthand, acceptance that humans are a small part of an integrated system called "the environment", listening to the song birds singing in the tree outside, and a totally selfish overwhelming sense of self preservation!

  7. Not much. I don't live a terribly over-environmentally harmful life anyway.

  8. I was a teacher for 20 years.  There are few things like working in a classroom full of kids with more opinions than facts to make you realize that you can and further MUST attempt to touch the future in positive ways.  Over the years, I have had more than 2200 reasons to be motivated.

My biggest motivators are ages 26, 27, and 10.  I'm hoping the 26- and 27-year-old motivators will give me some grand-motivators, soon, as well.

  9. It is mostly the Environment what motivates me ,

and those that dwell within of course

    And you do gr**b **s

you motivate me to be least harmful to other humans

    ha ha ha

    lol

  10. I was given a great gift, and a curse.  God gave me the ability to see the world as it is.  The joy that came to me when I understood my place in the universe was, and is, overwhelming.  The sadness I felt when I saw what we are doing to God's creation drove me to the depths of despair.  I'm past that now.  Mine is not to question the way of the universe.  Do we have no neighbors because we all shall have become of the same fate?  Or are we too distant?  Or the first?  Or the last?  It's the anger that motivates me.  The bitterness.  We have the answer in our hands, if only we would listen to our hearts.  It takes all types, I hope I have my place.  Did the caretakers lose the war, or did they refuse to fight?  Either way, it doesn't seem to have worked, and we have our current  situation.  I'm thinking we should try something different before it's too late and we run out of chances.

  11. I care about being alive and I care about the environment.

  12. The only thing people can do to reduce their carbon footprint is to die.  With 6 Billion people and counting, not much we can do over here as long as India and China keep reproducing and polluting like its 1950.

  13. i don't but i do not put rubbish on the floor i put it in a bin but i do not recycle

  14. My personal values I suppose, a sense of fairness and justice for all life forms, all things living on the Earth and a sense of fairness for all future generations and life forms too

  15. The nice way of saying it is, "You don't p**p where you eat."

I like planet Earth, it's good to me.  So I'm good to it.
