  1. You may have seen Ura (not sure of spelling), it is made in Russia.  The engine looks similar to BMW twin.  There are two version single wheel drive and two wheels drive.  They go for around $13K from BMW dealership.

A little history about Russian motorcycle.  When Russian took over East Germany they also took the other half of BMW motorcycle with them and built it for the military with side-car.  Until today the Russian uses the old BMW technology.

If you are interested, I could get a hold of the local dealer who sell them.

  2. Ural likely...

    Big on the sidecar

  3. Most likely you saw a URAL. These are made in Russia on the pattern of a ww2 BMW. They intrique me as both rear wheels receive power. I saw them in Sibera when I was there, they are commonly used to get around. Believe this, the roads there are a disaster. These are about 750 cc and have a cruise speed about 62 mph. Not hi tech at all. BUt I'll bet a lot of fun.
