What motorcycles should I be looking for?

I want a motorcycle that is under $1300. and is reliable. I used to have a 1979 cb750 that was great, but im willing to downsize. Im looking for something I can use as a daily rider, no sport bikes, and that can handle the highway.

im in the uk and just got a honda vfr750fk 1989 i payed £700 thats about $1400 nice bike too its a sports tourer with lots of power and torque, well i think so compare against any other bike and it comes out on top , go on try a search compare them

Ok for highway use you dont want to really go below 750-800 because trucks will blow you all over the place also true when you ride across a bridge. Now i'am with you i dont care for sportbikes just cant get comfy on one so that means you are looking for a cruiser or a standard. i bought a1983 kz1100 for 500.00 i put fresh oil,plugs,wires,and filters and battery she runs great. i think you see my point a little work can save you cash.
