  1. I would say Crunch because it's power and accuracy are both higher than fire fang. Crunch has 10% chance to lower the foe's Defense.

Fire Fang has 10% to burn the foe and 10% to make the foe flinch.

Both are physical attacks, which means that using niether 1 on a pokemon with Static ability may cause Parlyze to Garchomp; the pokemon using the physical move.

    Hope this helps.

  2. It depends on the set. A set with Swords Dance favours Fire Fang. I would go with Fire Blast.

    Here's why:

    • Crunch hits ghosts and psychics. Most ghosts and psychics can't counter Garchomp since most don't know any good ice moves. Cresselia is an exception though.

    • Fire Fang has low attack power. That's why I said that in order to have Fire Fang, you must have Swords Dance. Fire Fang does have the occasional flinch and burn, but Flamethrower and Fire Blast have more power and also burn once in a while.

    • Fire Blast hits those bulky steels that usually come in on Garchomp (especially when Garchomp is locked to one attack due to Choice Scarf). For example, Metagross, Forretress, Steelix, Skarmory. It also hits grasses hard and ice types hard too. Fire Fang fails to do significant damage on Steelix, Skarmory, Metagross, etc. If you choose Crunch, then Garchomp would be completely walled by Skarmory and Forretress, as well as bulky scizor. Even with Garchomp's average sp. attack stat, Fire Blast is the better option.

  3. I would keep fire fang because if you use crunch on an electric you could become paralyzed and lose the battle.

  4. crunch because its stronger and the pokemon might flinch from it im not sure bcuz i havnt played in a while
