i say trade lamar for artest. and what do u guys think about the dirk and pau trade? it will give kobe more space to drive. and if they didn't trade lamar then he can drive easier + Bynum can be a beast and be dominant inside because he'll be alone inside. that's what i think what about u?

  1. lol who would trade dirk, an all star for a soft pau gasol who cant even score over perkins? dirks destination? cavaliers.

  2. i agree with lamar for artest but the dirk and paul trade never gonna happend

  3. I'd say trade for Artest.

  4. i would say lamar 4 artest

  5. artest

  6. IF, as rumors suggest there is a sign and trade possibility that would bring Josh Smith to Lakers in exchange for Lamar Odom, Lakers should get it done; even if it means having to throw a future 1st round pick in the mix. Lakers would in all likelihood have to take back Hawk's PG Speedy Claxton's bad contract in exchange. No matter. That acquisition would be insurance in case of injury to Farmar or Fisher. Unlike a lot of Laker fans, I have no problem with LA bringing back Kwame Brown for the veteran's minimum as a low-post defender, interior defender, a la Kurt Thomas. In fact, this is Kwame's niche for the rest of his career. Finally, I'd look for an Eastern Conference taker for Vladimir Radmanovich. Radmanovich/Mihm to New Jersey for Stomile Swift and Sean Williams.

This is a ton to ask for. Chances are NONE of it will happen, but you asked what I would do/try to do if I were the Lakers, this is it.

    Hope this helps!

  7. they wont get artest or sirk they are to good for anyother players they can offer.

  8. i think the Lakers are legit with their lineup ri now, with

    fish

    kobe

    lamar

    pau

    bynum

they jus need a better sf off the bench.

i dont like radmanovic and luke

  9. You gotta think! Would you trade Artest if you had him for Lamar Odom! No you wouldn't, so why do you think the Kings would do that trade? They would trade their best player to a division rival and they would get a inconsistent player back. Loser!

  10. Nope Artest would hurt us so badly.

This trade idea is exactly like the Suns-Heat trade.

Why trade a HUGE key to your sucess for someone who doesn't fit in your team?

Losing Lamar would lose rebounding, and If you bring the selfish Artest, he will not pass the ball and the idea of Pau and Bynum in the frontcourt would be ruined

  11. If dirk was on the team, kobe would hate that... but they need a better backup SF.

  12. "trade lamar for artest"

    "dirk and pau trade"

    LOL

  13. don't bank on any trades or changes if something were to happen most of die hards would know by now. As far as i know any kind of chatter involving the lakers are dead at the moment there is this one thing but that's more whisfull thinking on my part than reality. A "western conference power" is offering a S&T for josh smith, but at this point it can be any of the 8 seeds of last seasons playoffs.
