What moves should I teach my Empoleon and Gengar in Pokemon Pearl?

Empoleon

Docile

Surf

Rock Climb

Hydro Pump

Waterfall

Gengar

Lonely

Hypnosis

Shadow Ball

Dream Eater

Dark Pulse

Ok leave out 2 water moves. Why bother having 3 water moves when u can have an ice beam too and a grassknot (or flash cannon).

What u can kill is only fire, rock and ground pokemon with that set = Joke (sry:/)

But ill help u out :D

Ok listen to this set. I know empoleon has more SP ATK so lets make him use that power.

Surf -> kills fire, rock and ground

Ice beam -> kills ground, grass, flying and dragon

Grass knot -> kills ground, rock and water

Result -> Ur empoleon has now a total of 7 different supereffective moves to pokemon.

As 4th move its a filler, id either go for aqua jet or agility. Aqua jet will always hit first even with a low speed. Agility just boosts it. U can afford to use agility since empoleon can take a hit or 2.
