The Dark Knight. It has everything. Action, Adventure, Suspense, Comedy, and GREAT actors in terms of Heath Ledger and Christian Bale. The 400K it made is no fluke. It really deserves this. It is AMAZING!!!

im having a Kubrick moment right now...

Full Metal Jacket- shows the mental disorientation of Marines during Vietnam, and how unjustified the war was

A Clockwork Orange- The amazing Anthony Burgess novel, but Kubrickian-style. Shows how man are born evil and cannot be changed

The Shining- IMO the best horror film ever made because it actually has substance. Jack Nickolson(sp) is amazing. The films shows the complete destruction of a writer who is hotel-sitting during the winter with his family.

i recently saw schindler's list, and it's one the best movies i've seen. the story is really a human one, and it explores the human concepts of the holocaust. one example is this n**i guy who loves this jewish woman, but he's suffering b/c he cant do anything about it. and the acting by liam neeson and ralph fiennes is amoing the best i've ever seen. 'specially neeson.

my favorite is a walk to remember. it's a romance but i love it because the guy is all tough and bad at first and then changes his life to be with a christian girl...and he ends up being like every girl's dream boy. i totally love it!

Saw-I like it because its creative and original plus the traps are awesome!

Devil's Rejects-The blood and gore, I'm a huge Rob Zombie fan. Love the action and the story line. I think it is one of the most realistic horror movies ever because it could actually happen

Final Destination-The death scenes, the blood, the gore the creativity.

Cannibal Holcaust-Because its controversial.

Serial Mom-It is hillarious, no matter how many times I watch it I laugh, I love John Waters' work he is such a great writer/director

Imagine Me and You-Its pretty much the only romantic comedy I can stand to watch.

Singing in the Rain-Great music, great dancing, good story line, classic movie!

For those movies which in theaters right now, The Dark Knight is the best.

I've seen it three times already, it is the "GodFather" of super-hero movies but I don't consider it "just" a super-hero movie it's actually "more" than that.

I consider The Dark Knight as an hardcore reality, in the times we live in there are fanatics and psychopaths like Joker who "just want to watch the world burn", some one who believes that "Either you die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain", a protector who thought there were "no limits" but he realizes there are which creates a difference between good and evil.

Nolan's movie is not just an ordinary "super-hero" movie like Spider man or Hulk ( even Iron man ) it shows you the real world in which you, me and we all live; where people suffer at the hands of such psychotic mass murderers, where good people turn bad because of a tragic death of a loved one. Sometimes, you have to take decisions which are unpopular but they are for the good of your own people.

Edward Scissorhands- Great dark romance movie with a Tim Burton twist. My personal favorite movie.

Fight Club- Really good performances by Edward Norton and Brad Pitt, and a nice plot twist.

Superbad- A very funny Seth Rogen comedy, with sexual themes.

Pineapple Express- Another Seth Rogen comedy, this one is drug oriented.

Blade Runner- Highly regarded as the best sci fi movie of all time.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind- Jim Carrey stars in this romance/sci fi/drama. A nice mesh of different genres.

I love movies too, I actually have an entire list of my favorite movies of all time (which I will gladly email to u upon request), I tried to select a few from different genres. Hope this helps!
