What movies do you like that other people don't?

Question

I can watch the tedious stuff like period dramas and subtitled movies which drives my friends crazy. Even good stuff like Amelie is too boring for them. Top of the list is Kikujiro, a Japanese subtitled film that I love but only a couple of other friends like. And I can't get anyone to watch the old 60's Batman movie. Then again I've got a friend who likes nothing but gangster films and Bond, and I flat out refuse to watch Bond. So what's your dirty habit?

I also love obscure subtitled horror films, but the movie that I like that no-one else does is Batman & Robin! Don't ask me why, I just think its the most fantastic piece of cheese!!

Also, I thought Freddy Got Fingered, with Tom Green, was hilarious, and not many people are with me on that!

I enjoy japanese films as well  and its hard to find some one who appreciates the same thing.

I am also a big Godzilla fan,i grew up watching all of his movies and again there is no one that holds the same interest that i have,i some times go to the movie theater by myself because i enjoy Horror/thrillers/suspense and majority of the people that i know cant handle the intensity (in other words ,its not there cup of tea)

I think The Birdcage (1994, Robin Williams) is classically funny, though my friends disagree.

All the old B/W gangster movies with James Cagney, Edward G Robinson, and  Humphrey Bogart.

Film noir, like Laura and Double Indemnity.

Zombie films, all the Romero ones like night of the living dead and so forth, but also the really low budget 80's italian ones:)

Lots of silent films, Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, and the ones by German director F.W. Marnou, like Nosferatu and Faust, some of the best horror stories were silent films, they were really really creepy, but hard to find now.

80's films like Big Trouble in Little China, He-Man and Gremlins.

Modern films like Tomb Raider which the critics in magazines only give *one star*, what's that about?

And loads more, my bf is the only person my age or younger that I know, who likes all the same films, most people don't:(  :)

I love the movie WHITEBOYZ but my wife hates it.  I walk around acting like flipdog all the time.  You can call me bruce....willis.  UNNNGGHHH!

I like Pan's Labyrinth I think the movie is very interesting but most people don't like it.

I love Godzilla movies all of them. My friends makes fun of it because it looks ridiculous for them but I didn't care.

Sweeney Todd and Sleepy Hollow. All my friends hate them because they are gothic and dark, and I am the only person who likes Tim Burton and Johnny Depp.( I am a tom boy and hang round with boys).

i like anything to do with vampires, lycans, witches, anything to do with stuff like that. i love the two Underworld films. But all my friends like the cheesy romance and musical films, which i think are boring. And they refuse to watch scary movies, so it's really annoying!

I watch Musicals and most of my friends don't want to watch them like my favorites are Phantom of the Opera, the new one, Sound of Music, and Wizard of oz.  Most of my friends won't watch them with me but i still love them anyway =]
