  1. all of them. you need to completely train your entire body for boxing. there are lots of great exercises to do without weights. pull-ups, squat-thrusts, push-ups, sit-ups, knees to elbows (hang from pull-ups bar and bring your knees to your elbows), air squats, air lunges, box jumps, jump-rope, run (long distance and sprints), swim, climb rope, chop wood, jumping pull-ups, etc as far as your non-boxing workout pick some of the above exercises and make a circuit out of them. for example do 5 pull-ups, 10 push-ups, 15 air squats, 20 sit-ups, and .25 of a mile run on the treadmill then do this as many times as you can (last time I did 8 rounds of this)

most important part of training as a boxer is simply to join a boxing gym

  2. Joe calzaghe has never done any weight training...his daily calorie intake durin training is approx 500calories...

obviously jogging over a long distance helps maintain strong legs, speedballs and punchbags help tone your arms and forearms, the above answer regarding medicine ball onto abdomen is a very good technique also..

  3. everything..plus it depends on your style what to focus on the most. The best thing you can do is go rounds with that heavybag throwing a crazy amount of jabs and a few combos 3min at a time. That is a workout in a half. also, lay down and have someone hit you in the midsection with a medicine ball over and over, this will build your stamina and prepare your midsection for the majority of blows you would be taking

  4. everyone, if you dont have your legs you dont have nothing your just a statue in front of your oponent becasue you cant move. You need to have a strong upper body and also a md section to absorb the blows.
