What muscles are used during tennis?

ok i would like it if people were to answer with specifics, eg "triceps braachi" and a list would be ace and guarantee you 10 points :)" please don't just list all muscles, just muscles prodominant in playing tennis... eg a list of the leg and arm muscles... thanks in advance :)

  1. I'm pretty sure there's not a muscle on your body that you don't use in tennis!  After playing about 5 hours a day, you'll feel all of them!!!

I'm sorry, but a list of the "predominant muscles used" would still be insanely long.  You don't just use arms and legs.  You use your shoulders, back, and abs, too.  Which pretty much brings the total to all the major muscles in your body.  I'm sure there's some obscure musles in your face somewhere that don't really contribute to you actually playing tennis.

    But yeah, that'd be a list of all those in your feet, legs, back, abs, chest, shoulders, arms, hands...  go to the link below, and there's a chart of the major muscles in these areas.  Everything they label gets used in tennis.
