What muscles are used for overhand serving?

  1. Wow tough question. First im going to assume Overhand Serve means non-jump.

    Now then.  There are two types. Straight-on hit, or Hook Hit.

    Straight is the one most ppl use, so ill assume u do that too. (Hook is when you duip your shoulder and let your arm swing into the ball)

    Your using mostly Deltoids, Lats, Abs (Center and Obliques) and some Pecks for the follow through.
