  2. You need to work your whole lower body, calves, hamstrings, quads and gluteus maximus for speed. Do so by doing squats, cleans and lunges. Also you need to have strong deltoids (shoulder muscels) to drive you arms. There are three deltoids, frontal, lateral and anterior, work them with push ups and shoulder presses.
