  1. i think everything

  2. Dude, if you haven't noticed, after about an hours worth of boarding, your entire body is sore.  So obviously it works your muscles.  Now, depending on how you board, it will affect different muscles.

I've seen people board holding their arms straight, which to me doen't make much sense, then theres the rest of us who have one arm straight and the other bent.  Now that will definitely work you bicep, delt, trap, and neck.  Also, the whole time, you're getting an intense core workout.  As long as you aren't just carving in and out of the wake.

Now legs.  Wakeboarding works your legs like no other beast could.  Since the water repulsion allows you to get into positions you normally could not, you get to work out your hams, the inside and outside of you thighs, and your butt.   Basically, Wakeboarding is a full body workout.  Now can you gain muscle.  That depends on how much you weigh and how much you put into it.  The short answer is yes, but if you really want to build muscle, hit the gym.  Wakeboarding will make you lean.
