Unity Candles was Alison Krauss "You say it best"

After we kissed we had AC/DC "HIGHWAY TO h**l"

I did the first dance with my father which was "Daughters" by John Mayer. And then my father handed me to my father in Law

Last Dance was Michael Buble "SAVE THE LAST DANCE FOR ME"

  3. I'm having wild horses by the sundays when I walk in to the register office, the accoustic version of If you could only see by Tonic as we walk out and Midnight, the stars and you by a band i can never rember the name of properly (its on the shining soundtrack!) as our first dance

  4. 1. My fiance is writing my processional, so I probably won't hear it until I'm walking down the aisle.  It will be a solo piano composition.   I think it is so romantic that he wants to write it just for me.

    2. He is also in charge of picking the recessional, he might write that too.

    3. OUr first dance is "Fallen" by Ron Sexsmith, and possibly we will also work in the song "Best Friends" by Ron Sexsmith as well.  They are both really special songs to us.

    4. My father/daughter dance song is "Look to the Rainbow" the version by Astrud Giberto.  It's not really father/daughter-y in the lyrics, but my father and I had a very funny moment together when that song was playing, and it's just a story in my life that I will always remember.

    5. My fiance has to pick the son/mother dance song, he's a musician so he will probably come up with something perfect.

6-10.  We are having a 5 piece jazz band (with vocalist) for the reception because we both LOVE jazz so much, and our families do too.  My fiance plays jazz piano, so he has been in a few bands and plans to have some old bandmates put a combo together for us.  I am so excited.  I don't think we need particular songs picked out, just some great jazz and swing music to dance to!

If you are having a church ceremony definitely consult with your musicians and they will give you suggestions.  It is important to choose music they are familiar with.

Here is a great website for choosing music:

I pretty much allowed the DJ to choose the flow of music at my reception.  An experienced DJ will know to play a mix of new and old as well as dance music etc.
