I am a distance track runner, and in order to get myself pumped up (and a little angry) I listen to some heavy metal music. Some of the best songs that work for me are Master of Puppets by Metallica and some songs by Killswitch Engage...

What do you listen to before races? Any reccomendations?

  1. The Foo Fighters are an awesome group to listen to. They just jam, and of course they have the angry component sometimes as well. "All My Life" and "Pretender" are two songs that I particularly enjoy.

  2. Eye of the Tiger by Survivor! all the way.

the beat gets you pumped and makes you want to run.

  3. i dont listen to music before races

  4. I can't get myself pumped with music or anything like that before a race, it just makes me even more nervous, I just go out there and try to keep my mind off of it as much as I can. Wow, look at me, I am getting butterflies already thinking about time trial 2 months away.

  5. Eye of the Tiger by Survivor all the way.

It always seems to help me when I go to track or cross country meets.

  6. Im pretty hooked on this new song V.I.C. GET SILLY.  Its pretty good ,really catchy, its been stuck in my head for hours just cant stop humming. Check it out I guarantee you will get hooked to!
