  1. Music that is calming is different for everyone. I find acoustic rock soothing and I like new age for clearing my mind. It depends on what you like - your favourite song of all will help you feel better guaranteed. Play it soft or loud, whichever way calms you down.

  2. Oh well,it varies. Some times I listen to music like in vampire movies. Some times Ozzy or Aerosmith has to work. And some times its some thing easy.Everyone is different.

  3. sometimes i listen to the angriest music i can find and punch the **** out of a pillow or something and sometimes i listen to some slow calm alternative rock music

  4. Hi Smiley..the answer I'm afraid is subjective..Some people find Classical calming, others R&B,Reggae,or even melodic rock or Chill-out dance music. It really depends on what kind of music you like. I like all kinds myself and can listen to music to calm myself that varies from Classical to bands like Radiohead,Cherry Ghost or The Pogues. I like Indie music mostly it has to be said and I find Acoustic songs very calming,an example of this could be the popular Live Lounge CD's from the Radio 1 DJ Jo Whileys live sessions where Artists come in and do an acoustic version of one of their well-known songs and also an acoustic cover version of other artists songs.

  5. Slow songs with soothing melodies and/or nice singing and/or soothing lyrics etc. help me.

    Some examples:

Northern Downpour - Panic At the Disco

The Rain Don't Last - Hope

Time Stands Still - The All-American Rejects

I Will Follow You Into The Dark - Death Cab for Cutie

Hey There Delilah - Plain White T's

    Bubbly - Colbie Callait

    Hurricane - The Hush Sound

When It Rains - Paramore (It's rock-ish, but I find the mellow tone calming)

    Finally - Fergie

    Early Winter - Gwen Stefani

Never Too Late - Hedley (OK, it's not calming persay, but it helps me feel better when I'm down :D)

Sunday Bloody Sunday - Paramore (originally by U2) (yes, it's a cover, and some people think they butchered it, but I enjoy it and it's calming to me)

    Bleeding Love - Leona Lewis

    Wonderwall - Oasis

    Dear Mr. President - P!nk
