What music to 9-12 yr-old girls like??

I'm working at a camp this summer with 9-12 year-old girls. We play music to wake them up in the mornings, and I'd like to know which artists/songs girls that age might like. Any ideas?

My 12 year old likes artists like Chris Brown, the winners of American idol, The Jonas Brothers, and Hannah Montana. I'm sure she likes more, but I'd have to ask her. I hope i helped!

cha cha slide would be good-it`s looong. lol.I would`nt play a lot ofHM or JB.or HSM, maybe at a dance.(Reguests).A lot of the 12 yr olds have "outgrown" the Disney.Keep it neutral-Girls Wanna Have Fun- Madonna, ABC-Jackson brothers.My daughter listens to Kidschoice on T.V.They play a lot of these songs. At her schooldances -there is one song loved by everyone.Cha Cha Slide.All the kids hit the dance floor.I think it would be fun to Cha Cha them out of bed.

i think it'd be really cool if you introduced them to classics.

when i was 12, i would have loved it if someone introduced me to the beatles and rolling stones. because now im 14 and thats what i love to listen to.

because just a week of listening to it, they'll love them.
