  1. You do not have to be an engineer to become a project manager. I work with them as an estimator, and I have the same required education as they do. You must take an engineering technology program, which is usually a 3 year course. If you're talking general construction, then it would be a civil engineering technology program.

  2. You can do project managing at university and you can do a HNC or a HNC if you don't have the qualifications to go straight in for a Degree but you can work after doing a HND........ Some places also offer at home study courses to do project management so if you look online you should find one......... Good luck :-) x

  3. gain sum experience in that field

and the options are to study for a PRINCE 2 certification

  4. It depends what project u want to manage!!

  5. You'll find project managers in every field of work. You should probably have some basic training in whatever field it is that you want to work in--engineering, city planning, wedding coordination, whatever--so that you'll understand what's going on. Then you can take certification classes for project management. The principles are the same no matter what field.
