What must Scotty Prince do to play rep footy?

I feel bad for the bloke. Snubbed twice for the Australian number 7 jumper and now left out of the QLD squad. I'm from NSW and I support the blues but come on! Didn't Karmichael Hunt play for the five-eighth position against manly? NSW will tear QLD to shreds untill Lockyer comes back. What do you think about Prince being snubbed for origin and australia? And don't say anything abou combinations, becauseif they wanted a gooc combination for QLD, they would have placed Cooper Cronk for halfback and go with a melbourne combo.

I agree he had been hard done-by.  He is in the best form that anyone could possibly ask for and they still left him out. He was never going to get the number 7 jumper ahead of Thurston though.  That being said, I don't think that will be a make-or-break difference in the side, hunt still knows how to handle himself.  As for the Maroons getting flogged...wishful thinking!  IF there is a flogging, it will be NSW with their tale between their legs.  Personally, I think it will be a hard fought contest with QLD getting up by somewhere around 10.

Sadly for prince the only way he will get a start is if thurston is out...simple! the 5/8 role is much better suited to a strong ball runner in origin who plays like an extra forward and is safe in defence.. This makes me think that they may play Inglis at 5/8 for much of the game and switch hunt to the wing..theyll be crazy if they dont! Although a good defender Hunt has only made 10+ tackles twice in his career! Expect N.S.W to run at Hunt all night if he actually plays 5/8.. So in conclusion prince should not be 5/8 and either should hunt...I see this as queenslands only weakness..!!! cant wait for game one..its gonna be a cracker.

Australia and Queensland already have a halfback in Thurston who also just happens to be their goalkicker.

The debate between Prince and Hunt doesn't exist because they are vying for different positions.

I agree, can't believe they picked Hunt for halfback over Prince when Hunt isn't even a halfback? That's just crazy.

his dun everythin he can do to get picked but still.. he dusnt.. biggest joke seein hunt in his spot.. they reckon thurston & prince will try 2 out play each otha coz of their past grudges but thats just dumb their professionals & cant decide their feelings for each other.. once qld see how bad hunt will do out of position surely they will wise up & put the best chance 2 help get a win ova the mighty bluesss yeaaa.. but scott prince is the man

Change his attitude.  He may be the form player of the competition, but if his attitude is bad, he just won't be selected.  I heard him whinging on the radio today...Like it was his position, he deserved it and the selectors were fools for not including him......He must change his attitude....I saw him get man of the match one day, and the interviewer said what a great game he had, and Prince was far from humble.  Didn't even thank the interviewer for the comment.

I'm a cockroach supporter, but Qld could put their second string side up, and they will still flog NSW., I'm sorry to say.

He left West in disaray after winning a Premiership and than busted up the best halfs combination at the time in our game, he can go play for the Toowoomba Clydesdales now for all I care!
