  1. Best answer i have is to have our government step in, or let them go.  European economies are stronger, and ours is weakened.  Jagr got something like 10 million a year, tax-free.  Lebron will get 50 million a year (tax free) when is current deal is up (the NBA max is something like 100 mil over 7 years) from a european team.

Their governments are stepping in and allowing them to poach our top stars, when ours is taxing them a higher percent (as well they should be).

Without involving the federal government, the best we can do is to have our salary caps not reflect pre-tax dollars, and have the teams pay the federal and state income taxes for their players.

  2. Did you forget that one of your favorite players walked out on his contract from Magnatogorsk? MALKIN! Fair is fair.... believe it or not, the NHL had a few coming to them by Malkin walking out on his newly signed contract late one night to come the the USA and play for Pittsburgh!

Of all the fans bitching, PITT fans have the least to complain about.

And technically, Radulov left before the agreement was signed, so according to any transfer agreement or lack of, he had the right to leave Nashville... do I think it was right? NO... but I dont think what Malkin did was right either.

  3. Strict and Monitored Counseling will stop it!i
