  1. You need a degree. You then take a teacher training course which gives qualified teacher status.

    Or do a bachelor of education degree which will give youm qualified teacher status.

  2. Unfortunately her Masters in Childcare will not be equal to British teaching qualifications. This means that she will need to undertake a British teaching course of some sort. It may be possible to get a post in a school as an unqualified teacher and then do QTS under the sponsorship of her employer -see website links previously given.

  3. I agree with all 3 previous answers. It is hard work - and they deserve twice the pay. I taught 11-18's for 30+ years but I'd rather have my nails pulled out without anaesthetic than try to teach primary!!

  4. Primary school - A degree in education, or a subject which is of relevance to primary and a PGCE teaching certificate. Secondary - degree in chosen subject and PGCE teaching certificate
