all of those names sound great, i named my horse elfin king (elfie) elfin  because he thinks he is small and likes to play games and tricks, king because he walks around like he owns the place and he is the most beautiful horse i have ever seen and i love him.

I really like the name Sakura just because i've never heard it before and i don't think you will here it often either. I would say for like an arabian but it doesn't really matter and a mare. It'd be cute if it was a dapple gray.

When choosing a name, I usually try to keep it simple.  You want something easy to say that relates well to the horse's personality.  It really depends on the horse, but from your list, I personally like the name Amber for a sorrel filly.  Remeber, you want to be able to walk up to the horse and say "hey ________"; it shouldn't be a long name that you won't use anyway.

i like my horses names we have alot of horses im only goin name two Sonny sorrel quarter horse gelding and Red red roan quarter/appy horse gelding and my favorite breed is quarter horses

storm:black quarter horse stallion

shadow: black quarter horse stallion/gelding

Sage - kind of cute

Echo - i like this name for a smallish horse sized gelding, blue roan pref

Onyx - i don't really like it

Sapphire - would be SUPER cute for a grey and white paint mare with blue eyes, delicately built. would still be cute for any grey (other than rose grey) mare

Serena - don't know why, i picture a chestnut warmblood mare with a star

Comet - i picture a medium pony, bay paint, gelding

Scarlet - i think this would be pretty for an elegant chestnut mare (TB type perhaps)

Sakura - cute could go with any color horse, maybe moreso grey or black & definetly a mare

Storm - grey gelding for sure

Shadow - black or blue roan gelding

Defiance - I picture this on a tall warmblood gelding, chestnut with tons of chrome

Pegasus - grey gelding (haha but i don't like it that much because it was on heartland)

Starburst - omg so cutee on a pony. i could also see it on a bright bay mare or gelding, really pretty with an arab type built (and a big star)

Summer - a pretty mare. flaxen chestnut, palomino, pretty gold buckskin

Amber - liver chestnut mare

i think if you get a white horse you should name it storm cuz when its windy and their standing on a hill, their hair waves and it looks so beautiful. i love horses.

I thank if her dam and sire are both good and well known horses ( for a good thang ). Than put for EX. her dams name is Bita Bar and her sires name is Lee's South name her Bita Soth like my horse. :)

Summer because she was a little Arab at my barn and passed away :( So sad because she was the best horse. Also because its just a great horse name, not a food name like muffin but not a person name like bob.
