Both names are nice but with all due respect, I believe that I like the name Hannah better.  It is a very feminine sounding name, yet strong. There aren't too many girls named Helen anymore, but you never know! I would have never thought that Hannah would have made such a comeback in the days when Jennifer and Kimberly were so popular.

In a few years one may ask the same question and get totally different responses.

i like Hannah better, but it was in the upper 10 most used baby girls names during the last years a lot - so it isnt that unique.

Helen seems to be a bit more "old fashioned" if you want - but still nice.
