NOT genesis!!!!  Yuck!  Didn't you see the episode of Mad about You when they wanted to name the baby for Paul's uncle (mel brooks) and after all, he announced his name was Deuteronomy!?  Don't do that to your poor baby!  (even if it IS a bit better than "Dooty")

Jennifer: The name "Jennifer" in my opinion, well, though it's an alright girls' name, albeit overused, I feel sorry for any adult that has that name. It sounds rather childish, and a mature adult might want to change their name to an alternative 'Jessica', 'Jen', or 'Jenny', but very few adults like the name Jennifer.

Jennifer is the 3rd most overused name in America, I think. It's too popular, mainly around people born in the 1970's, who are thirty something years old now, and feel like strangling their parents for naming them so.

Genesis: If people name their child Genesis, are there any children named Deuteronomy? Or Exodus? (I bet that you don't know what genesis means)

Jennifer.

It's my name! It's funny actually, because I like the name for someone else, but I get so annoyed when my dad calls me by my full name.

Maybe it's just the way he says it as he's the only one who ever calls me that, but I much prefer Jenny.

I don't believe it's that common though; it's one of those names that used to be but isn't so much any more.

To me, Celeste sounds like it might be one of the cortisans from Moulin Rouge. I can only think of someone wearing a can-can dress and pouting.

Edit: Winterlieder, hey!! Feel sorry for me do you?? Jennifer is a lovely name. And exactly, popular years ago, no popular now.

i would have to say celeste because its cute and different! the name jennifer doesnt look right on a little kid ( my opinion) and genesis is weird! but its whatever you like the best!

Since you tend to lean toward the names with a lot of "e's" in them, try tweaking the spelling a little, such as; Genefer or Jenesis or Seleste.  People like to be different these days.

Jennifer is woefully common, and Genesis is a band and some Biblical thing. Ugh.

To be honest, out of those names I like Genesis... it's different without being too out there.

Not really a fan of Jennifer - it seems too 80's to me.

And I don't like Celeste for some reason, just can't quite put my finger on it

Jennifer is cute because when she's little you can call her Jenny :) Of course I also like Celeste too for its uniqueness... tough call. Just skip Genesis!

Of the 3, I'd say Genesis.  There are an enormous amount of Jennifer's.  I just like Genesis better than Celeste.  :)

Genesis sounds like some gaming console. I'd prefer Jennifer or Celeste. Celeste is my fav out of the 3.
