What names would you avoid?

I know there are quite a few names that I would never name one of my children due to former students having the name. What are the names that were "ruined" for you by former students?

Alexis...I've come to just see this as "princess"

I know it's silly, but these are the names that create problems for me time and time again. Remember, names are not as important as they way a parent raises their child. It's completely possible to have a wonderful child by any of these names. . .

i have few but i teaches chinese students! most of my workmates(others teachers that work same place with me) hate the name "sheng"! the meaning is "win or sucess" ! y we all hate it? coz my centre has 7 classes, each of the 3 classes has students name sheng, and all 3 of them r the disasters in the classes! so coincidence! so thats y we hate it! n dont name ur children with names that related with meaning of winning n sucesses!

My cousin was a teacher and she had this student who made a lot of trouble,police was comeing to her school often becuase of him.He's name was Mark.Then the next year she got a new class and this was sooo hilarious tome.She came her fisr day and decied to write the names of the students by the way thay were stting.She started by asking the boy in the first row.She asked him his name and he said:"Mark",she got really stressed but she moved on to the next boy and ask him the same question ahe he said:"Mark".She checked to see if there are really more Marks and they were so she continued and aksd the hird boy and he said:"Mark".And then the whole class started laughing,and my cousin run out of the class room to the principles office.She wnt on a vacation the very next day.Now e laughe about it over and over again,and does 3 students turned out to be wonderful!

I can't say that there was one name in particular.  I've had a couple of lesser lights, I will admit, and a couple I wouldn't mind not seeing again.

But truth be told, I don't associate names and faces all that well at times.  A face?  Ouch!  I associate those.  So there are more facial types that I don't want to see than names I don't want to hear?

So, Shakespeare wasn't right in saying "What's in a name?"
