What national news stories do you think we will be talking about through 2008/09?

So what happend 3 years ago? Hurricane Katrina.. We still talk about that and that was so long ago...Now what do you think we will be talking about through 2008/09? Besides presidental elections. Going Green and the ozone layer and global warming i think we will be talking about. What do you think?

  1. Oh!! The world will still turn and the Sun will get up from the East and set in the WEST (your place).  All will sing "Don't Worry Be Happy" and also "Whatever will be, will be" & "Let it be me".

    Hurricanes will still come one after another......2005 Katrina...2008 Gustav......Hanna......others till 2009 but for sure, one weaker than the other ......and become just heavy storms.   There will be alot of news but stale type.

    Political news -----many on what is changing, who is up and who went down and what are the new actions to revive the economy, the health care for all, the welfare giving and the sure education for all children and sports for 2010 (1st Youth Olympic Games in S'pore in Asia) & 2012 (30th Olympics in London, GB). Winning more swimming gold for America and score 10G.

    There are so much news in the world and the Websites so just pick & read and make yourself Happy.

  6. I think we will be witnessing more catastrophic events in the form of Hurricanes, tornadoes, and floods. We will see the war continue and our economy heading for total collapse. At the end of 2009, we might even see the Amero introduced as a new currency to try to strengthen the economy once again. Gas prices are going to continue to soar and of course the rich will be able to afford hybrid cars, while the poor continue to become poorer. The middle class will be eliminated and homelessness will rise. Not pretty but it's coming.
