Hello! what nationality is BRENDA SONG?? im like soo confused, theres so many nationality people are saying. What is her TRUE/CORRECT nationality?! I mean her last name is korean but her dad is hmong?? was she adopted??

Song was born in Carmichael, California (a suburb of Sacramento) to a Hmong father and a Thai American mother (adopted by a Hmong family).[1][2] Her paternal grandparents were part of the Xiong clan, but changed their last name to Song when the family immigrated from Laos to the United States in 1975 because of the Vietnam War.[1] Her mother, Mia Song, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005, is a homemaker, and her father works as a second-grade teacher.[3] She has two younger brothers, Timmy and Nathan.[3]

She is Thai-American and her dad is hmong.  I don't see why her last name couldn't be song... Names are passed down by generations so maybe her fathers father was korean or so forth anf back on...

I don't know who she is but if she was born in America then her NATIONALITY is American. Heritage family and ancestry don't come into nationality.
