What nationality is the last name Jacky from? I'm Micronesian and Japanese, please help!?

I have no direct correspondence with my father, or ANYONE from my father's side of the tree. This has left me with a big hole in terms of genealogy. I plan to have children soon and want to be able to tell them about our ancestors. When I try the family research websites I only find white people, please help!

Knowing your father's ancestry depends on finding who his parents (grandparents, etc) were.  It will not depend anything on the nationality of a last name.. think.. it may be his last name, but he also has/had a mother (of a different last name/ family).

I assume your father is still living, or you may not know. If you are looking at the standard research sites.. they normally will NOT include anyone live, to protect personal privacy.  

I wish I could tell you something different. The only way is for mom to provide you SOME leads on his age/ place of birth, and so forth. Yahoo also does not allow info re living persons on here.
