  2. Eucalyptus and/or peppermint essential oils can be diffused in your bedroom to help clear the sinuses and aid in breathing during a head and chest cold. Another trick is to put boiling water and a few bags of peppermint tea in a large mixing bowl and breath in the steam. You can put a towel over your head to funnel the steam to your face so you breath more of it in.

    when you have a cold immersion bath with thyme oil can clear your respiratory tract and soothe cough

    add 3 to 4 tablespoons of whipping cream (heavy cream 35%) and 10 drops of thyme oil to the bath water.

    rest at least 1 hr after your bath.

    thyme oil also has antiviral properties
