  1. Dirk Nowitzki.

  2. Kobe Bryant

    Josh Howard (entering his prime)

    David West (entering his prime)

Dirk Nowitzki (08-09 season will tell if he still is in his prime)

    Ron Artest

    Yao Ming

    Mehmet Okur

    Pau Gasol

    Lamar Odom

    Hedo Turkoglu

    Rashard Lewis

    Michael Redd

    Jason Richardson

    Richard Jefferson

    Elton Brand

What's common among all of them are they were all born in 1978, 1979, or 1980 (I'm not sure about some others though). Usually, the prime years are when you are 28-30 years old when you have the right mix of athleticism and experience.

  3. Lebron Kobe Wade Yao Gasol Stoudemire Carmelo

  4. Kobe is the obvious one. Also, I think Lamar Odom is in his prime. He shot better than 50% last season.

Manu Ginobili and Hedo Turkoglu also.

  5. Kevin Garnett -  he's nearing the end of his prime but can still take over a game.

    Ray Allen

    Caron Butler

    Richard Hamilton

    Andre Iguodala

    Al Jefferson

    Brendan Haywood

    Joe Johnson

    Rashard Lewis

    Yao Ming

    Steve Nash

    Dirk Nowitzki

    Jason Richardson

    Peja Stojakovic

    Hedo Turkoglu

    Sasha Vujacic

    Rudy g*y, no he's not g*y

Aldridge, 20-10 if he can work on his rebounding

Monta Ellis, going to put up scary numbers now that he is the main guy in Golden State

  11. To me, a player in his prime is someone who is typically in his mid to late twenties and sometimes early 30's and has played in the league for a good number of years (at least 5 full seasons).  With that said, there are only a few in their prime and many soon to be in their prime

Prime:  D-Wade, G-Arenas, Kobe, T-Parker, Amare Stoudemire, Yao, Pierce, Michael Redd, Boozer...more

Up and coming:  D-Howard, CP3, Brandon Roy, Bron Bron, Melo, Iguodala, D-Williams, Bosh
