  1. Well, you should make sure the wheels are off of the ground or you will ruin your tires.  Then you should drain the gasoline and oil.  Cover the bike w/ a plastic sheet.

  3. The answer depends on how long it has been in storage. If more than a few months, I would drain and replace the fuel, oil, and check and charge the battery. Otherwise you just clean it up and check everything electrical and the chain or belts and tires.

    If it has been stored much longer, it would be a good idea to clean and remove the plug wires and check them for cracks and also check any fluid lines. You might also replace the spark plugs depending on how long it was stored and how much it was ridden before with them.

    You did say AFTER??? unless I am reading this wrong, sorry if you needed to know how to store a motorcycle I missed on that question.
