Partisanship is to blame.  Now that power is more balanced in the House, the House is actually doing work and passing bills.  So where's the hold up?  In the Senate, where the Republicans have just barely enough of a minority to filibuster every single bill.

That's what's been happening.  That's why Congress can't get any work done.  Every single Republican in the Senate VOTES against getting any work done.  And why are they doing this?  So they can try to blame their own obstructionism on the Democrats.  It's shameful.

I need to be given control and many people need to be left behind. yes, partisanship destroys hopes of fixing problems because officials do not care what is right or wrong, but what their party says. They should be liquidated.

WE need to inform/TELL our political representatives that WE NEED TO PASS a Constitutional Amendment for the LINE ITEM VETO.

This will keep the SPECIAL INTEREST GARBAGE from being attached to valuable legislation.

IF your special interest is SO valuable, why do you have to HIDE it in valuable legislation?

So, with them REFUSING to PASS the Line Item Veto, in reality, the House and Senate have REALLY been controlling the country!!

AND, with the CURRENT Senate and Congress having the WORST approval rating in HISTORY, hopefully we will see a LOT of changes after the general elections.

A recent Reuters poll is out and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have pulled an upset: They have managed to make George Walker Bush twice as popular as CONGRESS.

RECENTLY - - JUST 8% of Likely Voters now say the DEMOCRATICALLY CONTROLLED Congress is doing a good or excellent job.

Democrats generally believe in heavy fines for honest work, while rewarding sloth and indulgence.

Do YOU think that people should be able to do absolutely nothing productive and get government hand-outs for sloth and indulgence - healthcare, tobacco, alcohol, drugs, STDs, etc. ??

Do YOU want to have YOUR MONEY TAKEN from YOU and YOUR FAMILY to FINANCE these people ???

First we need to send all of them packing for home.  Start with a clean slate.

Before we refill the positions Americans should vote on some rules to govern those who's job it is to make our laws.

1. You get six years to give the job your best shot.  After that......find another job!

2. Line Item veto will be given to the president to cut out the pork spending.

3.  Representatives must be present at 90% of the votes or their constiuants will hold a special election to get a representative who in fact does represent them.

4. No congressman/representative may run for office while performing the duties they were elected to do.

people need to stop putting the same folks back into congress and the senate every term.  If they are not doing what you need them to do then Vote their @sses out of there.

Its that simple, but every term folks continually put the same ones back in office and then complain the next 3 years about how they are not doing anything and then vote em right back in.  

And then they wonder why is the country the way it is.........

To start off with,

If they truly want to be public servants and truly believe our troops should be in Iraq and Afghanistan, every member should spend some time "serving" our troops in those places and then when and if they make it back home, serve our troops families who are waiting for their, sons & daughters, mothers and fathers, brothers & sisters, etc... to come home.

Term limits would be next.

Line item veto is critical to getting the good things done without pork padding.
