It depends on the pay period: weekly, bi-weekly, monthly? Generally, you can deduct about 27%.

You forgot to say how often you are paid, and that will matter a lot for federal income tax.

Social security and medicare will be 7.65%, and PA state tax will be 3.07%.

Depending on where you live in PA, in most places there will be a local tax of 1%.  If you are in Philadelphia or Pittsburgh,  it's considerably more.

Any other deductions? Health insurance, Retirement Fund, Dental, etc?  And, how often are you paid that $1750?
