  1. If you want to use the internet at home, you need to subscribe to an ISP (Usually your local Cable provider or Phone Company).  They will provide you with either a Cable modem or DSL modem that you can plug a computer in to.  From there you will have to get a wireless router to plug in to your modem if you want to use your laptop's wireless abilities.  Be sure to ask your ISP if they have any modems that support Wireless networks though to see if you can save some money on buying the router.

Otherwise you can use your wireless internet at certain wireless "Hot Spots".  Usually coffee houses or similar places will provide wireless internet, I think even McDonalds as well.  Just remember that some of these places charge you for access (Like Starbucks I think) while others are free.

Alternatively you can also call local Cell Phone providers to see if they have wireless cellphone cards.  You will pay a monthly fee, and they will give you a cellphone card to plug in to your laptop.  This will allow you to connect to the internet anywhere that you can get a cellphone signal.

    Hope this helps!

  2. It does not work that way. you need to subscribe to a broadband service, this normally comes in wired. You either buy a wireless router to connect to it, or some providers will supply one for you.
