Question:

What new surfboard should I buy?

Been surfing for a year and a half and have a three board quiver(5'10 fish, 6'8 thruster, and 7'0 round tail for overhead); now I want a good board for launching airs.

I live on the Flatlantic and our swell is usually small(waist high is average) and mushy, any suggestions?

Besides move to a place that has better surf?

  1. Tough call. Airs in ankle slop. If you can't move, vacation a lot. I'm not into airs yet but here's the lowdown on what the best use:

Bruce's average board quiver: A few 5'10"s, a 6'0" and bigger boards. Here's the exact specs:

    Jamie's collection is nice:

From what I've heard about 6'0" or so is the best. You can always save it for traveling. Come westward!

  2. how can you get air on a waist high wave?
