  1. The only thing I recall that the Europeans brought to the new world that the American natives actually embraced with gusto, were Iron and iron tools, guns and gun powder, and horses.

    Because of their transient lifestyle, the indigenous peoples of the Americas were less than appreciative of most of the European technology, and the European immigrants did in fact, go to a lot of trouble to repress the native populations nomadic lifestyle, even to the point of wiping out the American Buffalo herds that they depended on for much of their food, injecting jack rabbit populations with malaria to wipe out their population, and a few other notoriously ruthless acts in order to bring them to heel.


  2. A firsthand demonstration of bio-warfare, but not all of that that was intentional.

    Europeans introduced firearms, some social adaptations, metallurgy (in some areas), and horses. Though really, the horses were reintroduced to the Americas by the Europeans.
