    I was off work with broken pelvis , I sat helplessly on the couch with an overwhelming sense of panic .

    I felt like I was the only person in the whole world who was watching the events unfold...



    I had just found out I was pregnant..and for the first time felt that pain in my chest that you only get as a parent . y'know THAT pain.......

  22. 9/11. it is such a haunting event. i remember seeing it on tv, and thinking it was a film or a fake or something. it was only after a minute or so i realised the real horror.

    may all those who died in it RIP, except those bloody terrorists!

  24. i think the shooting of john lennon was my first most memorable news event...unfortunately as the world is such a crappy place sometimes, it would take too long to mention them all...

  25. Like Many I'll always remember September 11th and also March 19, 2003. March I will remember because the day we dropped the first bomb in Iraq I turned 20 and thought what a way to end the teen years.
