Common British papers, that is.

  1. In general, the only street vendors you'll find in London are selling the Evening Standard (London's "local" paper which, unlike other local papers, carries national and international stories too.)

Other British newspapers are sold -- for the most part -- in newsagents (shops rather than street stalls):

they'd include tabloids such as The Daily Express, Daily Mail and The Sun; and broadsheets including The Guardian, Independent, Telegraph and Times.

There's an army of people giving away freebie papers too, at most of the central London stations; plus you can pick up a copy of the Metro (free morning paper published by the Evening Standard) from containers in the ticket halls of tube stations.
