What next for Great Britain?

Question

Are there any other sports that Great Britain (team GB) might win? I'm not sure how much longer the olympics is on for and what other sports are next? It would only take a couple of golds from some other countries to knock us off our place. Let's think positive though.

triathlon and modern pentathlon both have outside hopes.

Men's triple jump - but Idowu tends to choke in big events

Women's 400m possible silver

outside chance in women's 400m hurdles

Think that's all of them but there may be a few more surprises

Check out Andy Baddeley in track and field's 1500 meter finals,

to be held Monday or Tuesday.  He looks to be a great runner,

could medal, and possibly win it all.

I'm not British, but when I watched one of the early heat races,

I noticed this big tall runner at the back of the pack during the

first lap or so.  My first reaction was that, this guy sure has

a long smooth stride, and may be able to close on the field.

So I watched him the rest of the race.  Sure enough, he was

flying down the stretch near the end, and moved on to the

semifinals.  When checking results today, I saw that he

made the finals.

So check out the 1500M finals.  Your guy may be good enough

to win it all.

gold hope in triple jump with idowu perhaps a medal in the 400m women with ohurougu and gold in javelin women with sayers other than that we are totally rubbish at track and field as we have absolutely no hope in the running as we don't have any runners.

we might get a medal in the men's long jump with greg rutherford and the women's 400m relay.
