  1. They still have to compete in the event finals.

  2. they train for the next one

  3. a bunch of people think that this is their only one.they think they will be to old at 20.i realy dont know much about gymnastics but i hope to see them both in the next olympics.

  4. they still have individual event finals to do so their olympics is not over. same goes for Alicia. after liukin and johnson won their medals yesterday they said they plan to compete in the next olympics if are able to do so still. they had initially said before the olympics though that they were going to retire from gymnastics but the excitement from their first olympics mustve changed their minds. if so in 2012, johnson will be 20 and nastia will be 22, still relatively youn. gah and ill be 21 :-/

  5. Since Shawn Johnson is only 16 and has not won the Olympic All-Around Gold, it's pretty safe to say that it's very possible she could be back next time. Carly Patterson on the other hand was 16 and won and didn't come back, she turned into a singer. Nastia, at 18, might come back, but, seriously what would she do? 22 is sort of old for a gymnast to be winning Gold titles. i wouldn't be surprised if she didn't come back. She is going to college you know?
