What nights are formal nights on Carnival Triumph cruise?

  1. On most cruise ships, the first and last nights are usually "casual"; this is giving you time to unpack and pack, possibly wearing the clothes in which you intend to travel.

    Formal nights are usually when the ship is at sea and people aren't concerned with shore excursions.

    When I've cruised with P & O, they always inform you the evening before about the dress code for the following day.

  3. If its a 7 day cruise. Formal nights will most likely be the first sea day, and the fourth or fifth day depending on when you port. Your caper (the news paper you get daily in your cabin) will tell you when they are, or you can ask your waiter.
